ANULUM / DISCOVERY

Synchronisation through an experiment

Explore phases, coupling and the order parameter with a real browser simulation and a short sequence of observations.

Progress is stored in this browser.

STEP 1

Meet phase and coupling

Read the project introduction and its explanation of phase dynamics. A phase describes a position in a cycle; coupling connects how the oscillators evolve.

STEP 2

Compare two coupling scenarios

Load weak coupling, then strong synchronisation. Step or run the maintained WebAssembly model and observe its phase ring and order parameter.

STEP 3

Record the conditions

Save and export the parameter set. A useful comparison includes oscillator count, frequency spread, coupling and time step. Shared settings start a new run from the model’s initial state.

STEP 4

Read what the research actually tests

Explore the project’s publication page. Simulation behaviour alone does not establish a result for biological or physical equipment.
