The closed-form relations of this family, live: the laser review's ignition floors and design figures, the beam capsule and its illumination, and the impacted slab and sphere. The presets are the printed designs the cores anchor on; every output is algebra on a declared point, never a simulation.
computational_prototype maturity: algebra a filed source prints, never a simulation. No radiation hydrodynamics, transport, laser–plasma interaction, beam deposition, shock or burn calculation is performed anywhere in these cores; the ignition floors are necessary algebraic conditions on a design, never a prediction that a design ignites; no value describes, approximates or validates any real machine or shot.Laser ICF — ignition floors and the 1.5 MJ direct-drive design
Floors: \(\rho R \ge 0.3\), \(T_i \ge 5\) keV; \(P_{hs} > 100\,\mathrm{Gbar}\cdot 100\,\mu\mathrm{m}/R_{hs}\); \(P_{hs} > 250\,\mathrm{Gbar}(f_kE_k/10\,\mathrm{kJ})^{-1/2}\); \(R_{hs} < 40\,\mu\mathrm{m}\sqrt{f_kE_k/10\,\mathrm{kJ}}\); \(f_kE_k = 2\pi P_{hs}R_{hs}^3\). The gain is the reconstruction the core does not use as an anchor (the review prints 48; solid fuel at 0.25 g/cm³ gives about 57).
Beam ICF — the Ho capsule and the Callahan illumination
Masses from radii and densities; \(G_{\mathrm{capsule}} = Y/E_{\mathrm{abs}}\); implied burnup and implied \(\eta_c = G_{\mathrm{target}}/(\eta_e G_{\mathrm{capsule}})\) are labelled implied, not reproduced; the enclosure from the area ratio; the spot's area, effective radius \(\sqrt{ab}\), beam count and fluence; the exponent between two range pairs, never a fitted law.
Impact ICF — the plane plate and the convergent sphere (LA-8000-C)
\(t = \rho t/\rho_{\mathrm{mat}}\); \(E/A = (\rho t) v^2/2\); slab \(\rho R\) unchanged by one-axis compression (\(t_c = t_0/C\)); sphere \(\rho_c = \rho_0 C_r^3\), \(\rho R = \rho_c r_c\); the ideal-gas density of the printed 10 bar and 300 K against 0.01 of the cryogenic density is a consistency instrument only. Full-burn energies are upper bounds no target reaches.
